Getting the Facts
Two new LSC publications have been produced in the region, giving the facts about learning and skills in Yorkshire and the Humber and how the LSC has delivered against its targets.
is one of the first documents to have been produced on regional performance and is intended to demonstrate the LSC's growing commitment to co-ordination and improvement, at regional and local levels. The booklet gives a clear insight into the economic and demographic challenges of the Humber, South, North and West Yorkshire areas. Key data from the National Employer Skills Survey 2005, participation levels in learning, employer engagement figures - and more - are all covered.
It is complemented by a companion publication, , which focuses how the LSC's national priorities have been delivered in the context of Yorkshire and the Humber's key challenges and on how the LSC has delivered real progress against Government targets.
