Hambleton's flagship Springboard Business Centre on Stokesley's Industrial Park was officially opened on 17 May 2006 by HRH

The £2.35 million, Springboard Business Centre, financed by LSC-managed Yorkshire Forward funding through the Sub
Regional Action Plan for York and North Yorkshire, has been open for 18 months and has already won four major awards in
recognition of its design and building excellence, including the Royal Chartered Institute of Surveyors' 'Pro-Yorkshire
Award'. The centre has 20 incubator style units, providing state-of-the-art training facilities for a diverse range of
fledgling businesses.
Jessica Grant, contract manager for the LSC in North Yorkshire, was among members of the District Council team, architects
McDowell and Benedetti, and representatives from Yorkshire Forward, to be present at the Royal opening.
